To Add  ह्रस्व इ-कार or to remove an extra आ-कार at the end of a word, use the slash (/) key. Example:

dinabhari = दिनभरी; dinabhari/ = दिनभरि

samjhana = सम्झना; samjhana/ = सम्झन
